What’s an estimate, and why
- International freight — charged on volumetric weight, which we can’t know until the parcel arrives with us.
- NZ duty & GST — assessed by NZ Customs at the border. We estimate it, pay it on your behalf, and pass on the receipt.
If an estimate lands materially over what we quoted, we contact you before charging anything extra. If it lands under, you keep the difference.

Questions
The things people ask first
When do I pay?
Only after you've accepted a quote. Requesting and being quoted costs nothing, and declining a quote costs nothing.
Do you mark up the product?
No. You pay what the US retailer charges us, converted at the rate printed on your quote. Our margin is the service fee.
What about NZ duty and GST?
NZ Customs generally collects GST and duty on goods over the current threshold. We estimate it, pay it for you and show you the receipt. We don't add anything to it.
Can I combine several orders?
Yes — that's one of the main reasons to use us. We hold your parcels at our US address and send them as one shipment, so you pay international freight once.
What if the retailer sends the wrong thing?
We check every parcel when it lands with us. If it's wrong or damaged we photograph it and take it up with the retailer before it leaves the US.
What if it turns out it can't be imported?
We find that out before you pay, not after. If we've already bought it and something changes, we refund what we can recover and explain exactly what happened.
